Jordi Alcaraz Sculpture. Sculpture made with glazed ceramic. Unique Piece Signed Circa 2016, Spain. Excellent Condition. Alcaraz began a super artistic career as a sculptor and engraver. His work has been exhibited in individual and group exhibitions, in Madrid at the Brita Prinz and Nieves Fernández galleries, in Barcelona at the Joan Prats Gallery and the Santa Tecla de Hospitalet de Llobregat Cultural Center, in Palma de Mallorca at the Pelaires room, in Oviedo at the Vértice gallery, in Almagro at the Fúcares gallery, etc. He has also exhibited individually in several countries in Europe and America: in Germany, at the Michael Hass galleries in Berlin and Stephan Röpke in Cologne, Italy at the Galleria Torbandena in Trieste, in Canada, at Caroline Dimnik Contemporary, Toronto, United States, Jack Rutberg Fine Arts from Los Angeles, Switzerland, etc. He has attended international fairs, such as Arco, a fair in which he has participated regularly since 1997. Art Bassel, Arte Fiera (Bologna), Arte Colonia, Art Chicago, Pulse New York (2008 and 2009), Miami Art Fair, Arte Lisboa, Toronto International Art Fair, etc. 2001 participates in the collective exhibition “De Blancos, Vacios y Siletico” of the Telefónica Foundation, an exhibition with which seven young artists, Taking white as their argument, paid homage to Kazimir Malévich. In 2009, the Nieves Fernández gallery in Madrid el included in the Show “Cherchez la femme”, in which works by artists such as Eduardo Chillida, Equipo Crónica and Ronald Kitaj were also exhibited. He was also one of the promoters of the Calella International School of Engraving.
