Set of three oak slipper chairs by Guillerme and Chambron French Architectural team, Robert Guillerme & Jacques Chambron Solid oak with new upholstering and fabric Beautiful and elegant design circa 1950, France. Very good vintage condition. Guillerme et Chambron met in 1948 and created their firm, “Votre Maison” (Your House). The two worked together, with the collaboration of the cabinet maker, Emile Dariosecq, to design and produce furniture. Their company became quickly successful and a strong and creative notoriety throughout the 1950s, 1960s and the 1970s. It is easily possible to recognize the creations by Guillerme & Chambron thanks to the materials used: waxed oak, with light shades obtained due to the wood’s tannin, as well as darker shades due to iron oxide.
