Pair of Marc Held “Airborne” lounge chairs Made with fiberglass Newly upholstered with Serge Castella’s Port Lligat, Gancedo fabric, circa 1970, France Very good vintage condition Marc Held is a French architect, designer and photographer. He was born in 1932 to a Jewish family emigrated from Central Europe. After growing up in Bagnolet, in a world permeated by the communist ideal, he found refuge with his mother in the Corrèze region during the occupation where he discovered nature and peasant architecture and became a young resistant at the age of 12 years old. He returned to Paris in the 1950s and became passionate with design and architecture.
