Jacques Blin was born in France in 1920. He obtained an engineering degree in aeronautics but chose instead to make his passion a job. In 1954, he opened his first workshop to create ceramics. That same year, it is found at the Salon of Ceramists and Crafts and the House of Chemistry. Artist very committed to the defense of his art, he becomes vice-president of the International Academy of Ceramics of Geneva. He will also be President of the Chambre Syndicale des Céramistes and Art Workshops of France for twenty years.
